The coin clip dates back to more than 100 years and was popularized by Slydini in the 1950s and 60s. It was mostly used to vanish (lap) a quantity of coins without any noise or worry about them spilling all over the place.
Christian Scherer redesigned the original Slydini Coin Clip in the 1980s, to make it much easier to handle and the perfect size for four half dollars. It also allows for more natural handlings.
The clip is basically a tiny metal tensioned piece of metal that will tightly hold the coins you slide inside it and allow you to silently get rid of them as a single unit.
The video tutorial is the most comprehensive treatise on the subject ever presented. It includes many of the common methods as well as little known applications for close-up and stage. Subjects include: Coin Insertions (7 methods), Hand Steals (6 methods), Hand To Hand Toss, Lapping (4 methods), Almost Perfect Vanish, Sleeving (2 methods), Topit, NOW-U-IT Vanish, Pull (3 methods), Pendulum Principle/Upside-Down Topit (2 Methods), Baby Bottle Nipple, Silly Putty, and much more.
The new clip is made of stainless steel and can comfortably hold four half dollars (tension can also be adjusted for similar thickness coin stacks). The new design also has a couple of strategically placed holes that allow you to use it with a pull or a loop.
Comes with a stainless-steel coin clip that is around 1.5" x 1" x .25" inches (3.8cm x 2.5cm x 1cm) and access to a video tutorial with many applications by Christian Scherer, Dr. Michael Rubinstein, John Cornelius, and Meir Yedid. A Meir Yedid Magic product.
